Vampire Knight Anime!
I'm not sure when I started reading Vampire Knight (though I'm sure my lj would tell me if I bothered to look), but I'va always loved it. The art, the characters, the tensions - sure there are cliches, but I loved it all the same.

Now the anime is out! *___* I'm so excited! I downloaded episode 01 and I am going to watch it now. I'll be back for a review when I'm done. Or maybe I'll review as I watch, like I do with Avatar. We'll see. *^.^*

And here we go:

*sigh* Alright. I feel that anime and manga get ruined for me when I watch/read one before the other. I mean, I loved the manga. The pacing, the timeline, all of it - the sequence of events was perefect. I don't understand why conversion from manga to anime is not a literal process. *>.<* I mean, take the manga, draw in the missing parts to make it all move, take a few liberties by making shiny/sexy things, and add voices - it shouldn't be that hard.

But then they go and change things. *sigh* Nothing drastic, but...oh well.

I liked it. I was left a little disappointed, but perhaps I'm just being nitpicky. There's a lot more SD animation going on than there was in the manga, or that I imagined, but it's alright so far. The voices = <3. They're not exactly what I imagined, but fitting so far.
