Ranma/Akane Drabble for Vash

Title: Thoughts in Rain
Written for: Vash
Author: ~ Monique ~
Rating: PG-13~ish(?) [There's a Girl-Who's-Really-a-Boy/Girl Kiss in here]
Fandom: Ranma ½
Pairing/Ship(s): Ranma/Akane
Spoilers: None
Summary: A romantic picnic, a sudden downpour, and a surprising gesture; it must be love.
Word Count: 117
Disclaimer: I don’t own Ranma ½…Takahashi Rumiko-sensei does. Which is just as well, ‘cause I don’t know if I would have had the skill and restraint required to make these two not jump one another’s bones [for almost 10 years and 38 volumes…which is nothing compared to Inu/Kag (11 years, 51 volumes…so far), but that is not the point].

Ranma/Akane

It was a very nice make-out session before the rain started.

Before he’d even transformed he was already pulling away, grumbling about the cold downpour, and making a vain effort to stop his now-ample-breasts from being too noticeable through his now-transparent-top. Sighing irritably, Ranma pulled Akane from their secluded picnic-site, dashing to find refuge beneath a not-too-far-off café’s awning.

“Great! Frickin’ perfect! You know, it just figures-” Ranma’s high-pitched rant was cut off suddenly as Akane continued their interrupted kiss.

Even if it wasn’t quite as passionate as the pre-rain kisses had been, and it didn’t last nearly as long as Ranma knew it could, it didn’t really matter – it is, after all, the thought that counts.

- Word count: 117 … hey, it’s almost 100, right? And, hey: it’s the thought that counts!
